Artist's Description

Done with a single ink pen, loosely sketching, sometimes with eyes closed and thinking about anything else but drawing. After around 5 hours straight, this was created.

For me it represents life, as in the swampy looking path that leads deep into the jungle represents the journey a life takes, the jungle being the unknown future you can see in the distance. If you keep looking your mind will allow you to see endless amounts of interesting things, images that remind me of past pets, memories of good times and some of bad times, the dark, scratchy, mess above the path might represent a bad habit, addiction, bad memories anything that is a challenge in someone’s life. I think its easy sometimes to step off the path and get lost or lose direction, but if you look close you might be able to see a claw above the black mess which is waiting to pick you up and set you back on track, which yer, could be someone you count on in times of need or something that you do to reset and get back on track.
In the original if you hold the piece up to the light an image is drawn on the back of the page represented here in a lighter shade, you may see a dragon winking and poking his tongue out ( which could be your guardian) and the words ‘scribble my way, until happy.’ A good way to look at life, keep at it and it’ll all work out in the end.
