*having broken bread and shared tea with nomadic yak herders,
iranian princesses, refugee children in exile, gurus, and saints……
this is a brief visual account of the past twenty years,
of one ever-changing lifetime
my images are very personal, documenting the very real face of cultures
on the brink of being absorbed by the all-pervading commercial globalization
of the human race,
an individual perception and expression transcending language barriers and cultural concepts, relating directly via the lens of a camera.
living in villages and monasteries among people
with backgrounds in ancient cultures has taught me
to appreciate the simplicity of being and the common spirit of humanity.
