Cappuccino

Cappuccino

She approaches the well known counter, a smile plays on her lovely lips,
peruses the menu she knows by heart, tapping a top with her fingertips.

The guy there just to serve her, so his attention you could never break,
its free cappuccino today, he says, ladies day, again, for goodness sake.

You look him in the eye, impaled he is by that smile, lost to all around,
he would do your utmost bidding, but feet seem stuck to the ground.

Large Mac with Fries you say, the words, a mere whisper you let free,
he already new this and was ready, but at your request he must flee.

All is there in double time, he mutters the cost as if begging for more,
you hand him the exact money, coffee was free you knew the score.

You turn, walk away, his heart is in his mouth, his eyes on your rear,
your walk a sensual delight, so all the unaccompanied men also leer.

At one point you drop a napkin, then bend so easily for it to retrieve,
your jeans pull tight, cleavage proud, no man in the room can breathe.

The reaching the door you turn, a smile, and so your parting so to take,
the guy mouths back, ‘ladies day tomorrow’, well yes for goodness sake.
