Sometimes shots like this piss me off. You spend half a day climbing, wading, sloshing, gripping, swearing, straining, sweating, mile after mile, up and down, on your back, your knees, your stomach, crawling through weeds, reeds, burrs, mud, and God knows what else, you feel good, you’ve put the effort in to get the best light, angle, framing, focus, you’re exhausted, but satisfied, and finally, finally, you’re back on level ground, a nicely graded trail for a nice comfortable walk back to the jeep and……Oh, come on…seriously! Set the tripod up just off the trail, snap, snap, and you’ve got the shot of the day, and you could have driven there, walked a few feet, snapped and left in all of 5 minutes, and you could have done it dressed in a business suit with nice shoes and not even come close to breaking a sweat.
The truth in descriptions board has asked me put in a correction. I do not actually own a business suit or nice shoes.
