Artist's Description

One of the bigger thrills of my photography journey thus far, published in Outdoor Photographer magazine! I was fortunate enough to have my photo of Watson Lake published twice in the current issue, The page seen in this photo, taken at the spot I took the shot, appears in the introduction to the issue by the editor. He talks about photography as poetry, and in all honesty that was the biggest thrill for me. I have always seen photography as poetry, as art, a form of expressing yourself, overcoming yourself, and in the end revealing yourself.
On an interesting side note, Op had asked me some time ago for a high rez version and a blurb about where and how the photo was taken. I obliged, and they replied with what I assume is the usual, “there is no guarantee of publication”. I was never notified of the publishing and actually found out that I had made it through 2 bubblers congratulatory bmails. Thanks to Jeffrey Sinnock and Linda Sparks
