I dedicate this to my two grandfathers who were both coal miners – one in Wales and one in Northumberland. No physical resemblance intended :-)

Before anyone asks what the similarities between rabbits and coal miners are …. coal miners and rabbits all dig tunnels underground.

I used coloured pencils and ink.

Bunnies of the world unite –
give those foxes an awful fright :)
hoist your Bunny flag up high;
raise your paws up to the sky.
Bunnies all with fluffy tails
conquer England, Scotland, Wales,
sail across the ocean blue,
conquer Yanks and Ozzies too :)

Coal miner bunny has lots of fluffy-tailed cousins and if you’d like to say hello to them, just click here
