A collage of sunlit flowers growing in our garden in the North-East of England around Eastertime and consists of scarlet, peachy-orange, sunshine yellow and pink tulips, a dreamy yellow blotch pansy, golden yellow and rich brown violas and a beautiful vibrant purple Senetti planter on a royal blue background and in a drop shadow frame. Not all of these flowers were growing in our garden in the same year. My main camera then was my Canon PowerShot S3 IS camera, which I especially liked because of its Supermacro setting. It was an excellent bridge camera and Canon’s replacement was bigger and more cumbersome. It had twice as many megapixels, but you could not hold it so close to a flower, so ended up losing the extra megapixels by cropping. Not a good move, Canon! My new bridge camera is a Nikon for that reason. However, I still preferred Old Faithful, which was also my first digital camera. In this case first was best!
