The Isle of Harris is the largest in the Western Isles, an archipelago off the North-West coast of Scotland. The terrain is hilly and it has many beautiful, unspoiled beaches, some with white and other with golden sands.
Rural in character, it is great for hill walking as well as divers, who are keen to explore the abundance of marine life.
Wildlife tourism is really taken off there. Formerly the Western Isles were known as the Outer Hebrides.
