Artist's Description

Meet Rusty – the old Thornycroft Trusty.

He was built during the 1950s as a prime mover lorry.

After many years of good service, he has now retired and is enjoying a quiet life in the country.

Yes, he is a bit rusty.
Yes he has lost his windows and doors.
Yes, his bumper has dropped (oops – don’t look).
And yes, his lights have dimmed.

But he still has all of his old charm.

Captured in a yard near Bilpin, NSW, Australia.
