A Grave Poem

I loved you to death but you’re still living
Tis my life which is found among graves

while you’re exalted, with the show that you’re giving

I’m forced to follow half the time unwilling

my spirit is hunting your wondering path

like zombie I follow and laugh when you laugh

occupying your shadaw as you take on glory

I’m brushed aside decomposing and gory

putting on charade for all of your praisers

of me one positive comment maybe comes later

She’s such a good girl a good Christian wife

tis only because I’ve sacrificed my own life

to feed into others great deceptions of you

to hold back inside and help cover up truth

I’ve let you shine and have hidden my pain

Ill treatment’s my payment, love taken in vain

can you not see it, or just do not care

No life of my own just existing, just there

If only they could see it, feel the fear in my head

They’d say trully she’s living, Tis he who is dead
