The Brick Lane Gallery is proud to present our fifth CONTEMPORARY PAINTING for 2014, with a vibrant mix of artists from around the world (including Finland, France, Spain, Lithuania, Brazil and the UK), bringing colour, light and figure to the fore in all its glory, this masterful array of talent show cases a modern re-interpretation of the medium of paint for a new age. With powerful oscillating abstracts from Vytautus Kaunus from Lithuania and gorgeous Picasso inspired pieces by Paula Faddul from Brazil through to stylized portraits exploring human states of being by Renata Kopac from Lithuania, alongside romantic / scientific bodily examinations by Juan Herman from Spain this exhibition ranges from the naturalistic to the conceptual. Our aim is to create an exhibition which provides a platform for the re-discovery and enjoyment of the art of painting in an international exposition calculated to stimulate and excite the senses.

We invite you to join us at the opening of CONTEMPORARY PAINTING on Wednesday 11th June from 6pm – 8.30pm
