Very nice, Lindsay. I love the stark scene and the 50% shadow across the pillar.
WOW WEE – I have to say this is totally sensational…. This is so amazing I want to exist in this piece of work… The composition is so damn striking and formidable. Love the way you have handled the dirt, and then there is so much intricate urban work going on in the distance – where on earth did you find this place! The shadowplay and light are just exquisite. This is the ultimate piece of artwork – everything I like about the world captured in a single frame. I want this as a large format pice of art in my house! BRILLIANT WORK!
!!!!The pole looks like it just landed! and the scene behind the pole looks like a piece of material backdrop…:) its sumptuous!
Like this one. Nice shot Lindsay.
There are train spotters and there are Image spotters. Images are much more interesting. Nice catch.
I’d say your creative itch worked quite well, Lindsay.
wow what a great image. i love the way the pillar dominates the image to the right amount.
That is one amazing pillar!
Paul is right about this image. the way you use the pillar is something a lot of artists steer clear of. Your composition reminds me of Monets Grand canal. I wish you all success in your artistic endevours, you deserve to!
