Artist's Description

I have gone to this park half a dozen times in the past year just to photograph the changing light conditions superimposed upon the colors of the vegetation. The hills are bright green during the rainy season: Dec-March, and then completely yellow by the hot summer. At the base of the hills there is a park that is watered year round and has bright green grass. There is a small lake nearby which is almost completely dry by late summer and I enjoy walking on the cracked lakebed.
There are no trees on the hills, only the occasional cows. It makes for a stunning example of the California outdoors.
