Letter to Mom

It’s the hardest job of all
A job like no other
Your work is never done
When your job is being a mother

The hours are long and hard
You’re never off the clock
And every time my life crumbled
You became my rock

You always wore many hats
You had to do it all
When ever I had a problem
It was you I chose to call

You’ve always been their for me
No matter what I’d do
Your love is unconditional
Just like mine for you

You never took a day off
You never called in sick
With all the mothers in this world
You’re the only one I’d pick
