Artist's Description

This picture is full of enemy ammunition taken in the Boi Loi forest and displayed at the fire-support base there, Wood 2. In front are recoiless rifle rounds, then RPG7s, then rows of mortar rounds. The date is mid-1969. All this re-supply, that never made it to be used in an attack on Saigon, most likely came by ship to Cambodia and then was hauled to the supply centers along the border before being hauled into South Vietnam. The Ho Chi Minh trail was a two directional system, ships and Annamite trails.
