Following a 10 year drought that turned Central Victoria’s Lake Eppalock into a dustbowl, recent flooding rains have made their way along the waterways feeding the lake. Two months ago this view of Mt Ida Creek was a miserable barren wastleland but the injection of water has brought new life to this popular tourist destination.
