Ever since “The Lion King” I’ve loved the Meerkat which inspired this work. Such strange and curious little guys they are. I captured this one at the Lithchfield Wildlife Zoo in Litchfield, AZ. This work is in honor of the wonderful underground dwellers that in this case have given up burrowing for the open sea,
