Artist's Description

Another image of this rustic shearing shed just outside Junee NSW Australia. My Dad worked in shearing sheds when I was a child maintaining them and we kids could visit during shearing to watch at a distance. My father-in-law was a wool classer and my brother-in-law still is with my husband also doing his term as the pick up boy in his teens. So it seems that shearing sheds have played a large role in my life and the smell of wool in this shed brought back many memories. The farmer had simply pointed us in the direction of the shed and we were free to then roam around at will … it was a wonderful and challenging experience to try to capture my thoughts and memories … please enjoy!

Taken with the Nikon D700, Nikon 28-300 mm lens, hand held at 36 mm, F4, 1/40 sec, ISO 2500.
