I love the challenge of capturing what I see, admire and love. To share it with you is an added bonus. Photography to me is recording...

Please excuse!

I’ve been off the air since Friday morning and have been experiencing Red Bubble withdrawal symptoms however with my trusty Nikon D80 by my side, I have overcome this disease by taking heaps of photos on my latest trip.

On Friday morning we headed off up the New England Highway stopping at Camberwell, Scone and Blandford to photograph the old churches and railway stations in these country towns. Then onto Murrurundi for the afternoon where we crawled all over the place, taking heaps of shots there of a great assortment of subjects. Then onto Quirindi where we stayed Friday & Saturday night. Saturday we headed off to Wallabadah to the First Fleet gardens and had a wonderful morning with Ray Collins who built the gardens, swapping convict history before heading off to Werris Creek to the Rail Museum there, then a drive further out west to Gunnedah. Along the way we took photos of railways stations, churches, old bridges, old houses and machinery and lots more. Sunday morning it was a cemetery shoot before heading back to Murrurundi to take a few we forgot on the way up.

NOW we’re home, I have to catch up on everyone’s work, moderate my groups and check out my images on the camera. Hopefully I will have some beauties to show everyone. Great weekend but I’m exhausted (in a happy way).
