My art is inspired by nature and rich colors. I am an artist/photographer/writer and like to see art printed on fashion.

Someone bought an A-Line Dress! Thanks!

Many thanks! All of a sudden there was a burst of activity. I recently sold a pillow and two tee shirts that say “There is No Planet B.” Today I sold the first A-Line dress, Black-Eyed Susan. I hope the buyer will love it.

Thanks for all the support and comments and sales. It is inspiring to be part of such a great group.

Should Redbubble Print and Sell Scarves?

Redbubble should sell scarves

Please comment or vote on this thought in the feedback forum. The link will take you there. So many of our great fractal, abstract, and flower designs would be totally fabulous as silk scarves! We need to get someone’s attention. Thanks! — Betty

Here’s my posted comment:

A silk scarf can be printed using a silk-screen process and the silk supports finer detail than cotton. Scarves usually sell for more than t-shirts so possibly RB could make a little more on each sale. On Redbubble there are so many gifted artists who work with fractals and geometry-based color studies — these art forms especially would lend themselves to fantastic looking scarves, glowing with color. It is rare to see scarf designs in stores as beautiful as some of the member work here at

Video of Mackey Art on YouTube.

Just for fun I made and posted a video of my colorful abstract digital images on YouTube. Click here to watch and listen.

The jazzy music is by my younger son but he didn’t want credit! The images pan, shrink, or grow gently as the video flows along to the music. Each frame has the image name.

I used the program ProShow Gold. It is from and is fairly inexpensive and also offers a free two-week trial.

Let me know what you think! Cheers! Betty
