Artist's Description

With the ever increasing demands for energy, both here and abroad, harvesting energy from the wind is no longer science fiction, but a stark reality for future generations. This image, and others, were taken in May of 2008, in a small farming community in Central Illinois, USA, where acres of corn and soy beans have given way to windmills.

This particular image gives you an idea as to how massive these windmills can be. The grain silos are, I am guessing, about 75 ft. high.
