Artist's Description

River red gums (E. camaldulensis) inhabiting a wide floodway in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia.
I was not happy with the original image because of the confused dappling of bright light and deep shade, so I first converted it to an oil painting in Topaz Impression, then made it into a monochrome, using Topaz B&W Effects.
