My name is Kathy. I have always been interested in photography. I was the one that usually grabbed the family camera to take pictures which was a Kodak Brownie.
I have recently moved from Vancouver Island on the west coast of B.C. to the interior of B.C. to a place just outside of 100 Mile House (moved in August 2010). So I’m looking forward to sharing some of the photographs that I’ll be taking of the area.
With the advent of digital cameras, I can now take pictures to my hearts content. I joined the local camera club on Vancouver Island and my friends, Sandy and Heather, have helped me very much in improving my photography.
I use a Canon Rebel XSi (450D) mostly with 15-85mm lens, a Tamron 90mm macro lens, and a Tamron 200-500mm lens, along with a tripod. But when I don’t have them with me, I have a small point and shoot Canon A590IS that will work in a pinch.
