I am an imagist with a fascination for seeing the extraordinary in every-day objects and sights.I still use film occasionally and still have a love of black & white photography.

i first learned photography back in the days of black & white film but was re-introduced to it around the turn of the century and soon acquired two Nikon DSLRs (D70 and D300) and a full complement of digital editing tools

Generally I prefer minimal processing of images, except when I am creating piece of digital art with its own reality. The distinction may not always be obvious.

I do minimal image processing except in those cases where I am creating an image that is based on a photo but then goes off into its own reality.

I have done the usual photographer things – exhibits, galleries, art shows, competitions; won some awards, taught and have works in various collections in the US and abroad.

I have been involved with several arts organizations and enjoy sharing what I have learned. I look forward to comments as I too still have much to learn myself.
