Again…viewing larger makes all the difference to how you see this image. It’s anotehr fine example of your photography. I like it because it’s as you see it and not been tweaked with all sorts of filters etc. Some images look wonderful tweaked, but this one has been done justice by just leaving as is.
We always say the heron when it crouches looks like the old man of the rivers!
Thanks for appreciating the naturalness of it. I think it is the bigger challenge to be able to pull it off. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate hearing that.
When I came back from my hike that day, I learned that an old friend was on her death bed. I do think the heron had a message for me, one I will never forget. Never saw him again.
