Another Day In Paradise

As I sit here noming on my meal of choice from the gilded arches, I can’t help but have a smile on my face. Not because of the greasy deliciousness, but because I got in contact with a woman I was crushing on about 6 years ago. In short, she is my standard, the base by which I judge all beauty. And she unknowingly moved to a city an hour away from my house. Sure, I’ve moved on, but we were good friends in the short time we knew each other. I’m not a believer in fate, or destiny, or any of that serendipitous stuff. I believe that chance encounters or unexpected happenings are just that, two events that coinsided for no reason other than that’s just the way it worked out. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. In regards to her, I’m willing to make an exception. She is truly that amazing of a person. And she wants to have coffee with me, hence the reason for the gigantic smile on my face. I was privelaged enough to play a role in her life six years ago and my heart is exploding with a glimpse of the thought that I could have a recurring part.

Live well.
