Bird Rock, 4am, last new moon.
This is my beach, my place, my home.
I’d always wanted to shoot star trails, and for a while had been waiting for the elements to line up (new moon, clear night, still, no work the next day etc…).
So this is my first attempt at it. 90 images, most at 30 second exposures and one 25 minute exposure thrown in for good measure. Images stacked and processed in photoshop and then lightroom.
The “cloud” on the left is the milky way galaxy, and the two small clouds on the right, the Magellan clouds.
