While the previous tweaking in this series has been reserved for the wooden cabinet surfaces, when I saw the photo below (from fanpop.com, http://images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/10500000...), I just couldn’t resist “tickling these ivories” :o))).

Not too long ago my boss alerted me to a show on MTV (called “Pimp My Ride”) where dilapidated cars were restored to better than new condition, highlighted by extreme paint jobs and detailing. I think that show has run its course, so I decided to apply the same concept to pianos, using my fractal art patterns to replace the staid, traditional black and brown lacquered exteriors. Hope you like this series, and if you feel inclined to try it yourself with your own artwork, I’d love to see your results.
