Created in Mandelbulb3D v1.8.8, starting with parametersfrom built-in “genQuat helix mix” as an alternate coloring of a previous image shown below. Scale up and final render in GIMP v2.8. Best if viewed larger.

As you may be aware, the antenna built into your cell phone is based on a fractal pattern (Koch snowflake), so this M3D image struck me as possibly some immense, powerful radiotelescope that might be needed in the future for interplanetary or even interstellar communication, or even currently for interstellar exploration (since the signals we receive now are often from events long in the past).
