I don’t know what this little bloom is, it is smaller than 1/2 inch. Any idea please let me know so I can name it. This is actually an an experiment image. So often when we shoot closeups we have no control over what the background is like, Whatever is there becomes the background. You can often remove unattractive backgrounds with tools like the clone tool in photoshop. However that is pretty labor intensive. So I decided to try to make me a portable background. I cut the side out of a plastic container which is flat black. I used a small sign stand to hold the flat piece of black plastic so I can stick it in the ground behind what I am shooting a closeup of and make it self standing. This was shot with my Fuji Finepix S5800 set on super macro in Arnold Missouri.
