Artist's Description

This little guy is a house sparrow that was first introduced in Brooklyn, NY in 1851. Funny, I was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1951. Now don’t start getting out your calculators!!! They gradually moved out west. They can mostly be found where there are houses or building…I bet that’s how they got their name, and that is usually where they make their nests. This little guy was spotted in Union Square in New York City.
