Artist's Description

You all know how I love my coastal waters. There is one industry that never seems to be appreciated for what they provide, for what they trial through and for their losses…. of product, of an easier life, and for their lives.
You read in the papers of the great fishermen lost at sea….. This is to memorialize the great men and women who go to the sea everyday… to do what they know and love. This way of life is not easy on their families, even when they return home at the end of the day.
This verse is about one couple who lived this life, had everyday trials, and lost in the end. Notice that it spells out WINTER….:))

waiting your return.
why did I wander here
what do I mourn?
Inside there is fear
Into every pore
Interrupting thoughts
Ignoring the near shore.
Never turn away
Not for even a minute
Nothing shall remain
No, there was nothing in it.
Turn away from me
Testing the tide
Trying to remember
Telling my side
Ever in my heart
Even when at rest
Every bit of calm
Ejects me from the best
Remembering you
Rest my love at sea
Reject all my words
Restore your love for me.
