Six Feet Under

Why I stand alone,
And no-one’s coming home,
To rescue me from my own destiny?

I said…
I can’t understand why all this misery,
Keeps coming back to haunt me,
I feel so afraid.

But I’m gonna have to turn,
And walk away from you,
Once again what else can I say,
You aren’t my friend!

And now I cannot afford,
To keep you here no more,
‘Cause I have quickly learnt,
That I’m running out of room!

You said…
Why is it I can’t just find myself again,
Under this broken rubble,
I clench my fist…

At the sky,
Above me has now turned a darker red,
And I’m feeling pretty lonley,
Waiting for my death!

And yet I would not wish any of this,
Upon anybody,
What I’ve been through,
It’s getting really rough!

But I can not get enough of this,
And one day it will strike me down,
So just for now,
Let’s forget about it!!!

I CAN SEE A CHANGE BREWING… IT’S RIGHT ABOVE ME!
I CAN FEEL MY HEART RACING… IT’S TAKING OVER!
YOU WON’T TEAR ME DOWN THIS TIME… I WILL NOT LET YOU!
YOU WON’T HEAR A SOUND COME OUT… COME OUT OF THIS MOUTH!
