War in Afghanistan

As I walk along the river bed, I listened to the birds awakening in the trees above me, I wonder what life would be like if there was no war and I could be free to live how ever I like, as i clear my head of all the bad thoughts, I suddenly hear the laughter of cruel soldiers walking along the stone road, I quickly hide in a little house that had been bombed, as I watch them dissapear behind the corner I take a step to the right and hear the crack of glass, I must have stepped on something, I move my foot to see what it is, I realise it is a frame, I pick it up from the ground. While brushing the dust off the figures of my deseased family appear, I then feel the wetness of my own tears dripping down my face. “I wish my family was still hear its not fair why didn’t the bomb hit me and not them” I say. I stand up and listen to my fathers last words. “The end is just the beginning my little one!”
