Artist's Description

Imagine that you are swimming in a warm tropical lagoon, surrounded by the beauty of tropical pardise. Suddenly, a great undertow pulls on you from behind. You can’t see what went flying past, for the beast is camoflauged by millions of years of evolution. The next thing you know is that the gaping jaws of hell are stretched around you, nine-inch teeth flashing in the sun light that penetrates the water beneath. Your only reaction is the tingling feeling of shock. The cavernous throat rises out of the water, and the jaws snap shut. The king of the oceans claims another victim that so foolishly strayed into its kingdom. The Megalodon was the undisputed ruler of the oceans, and it was the largest predatory creature to exist. This majesty of death is to be admired from a distance of time, and its ancient burial grounds deep beneath the ocean waves to be respected for eternity.
