I paint in oil colours inspired by vintage photographs and a lifelong love of history and archaeology. From my home in the south of France, I reimagine these early compositions through oil painting, using the rich nuances of colour and texture to translate a flat, monochromatic picture into a sensory, tactile experience with an early twentieth century aesthetic.
