WELCOME to my red bubble site. I would like to introduce you to “someone” who belongs on this page. My inner child paints with me.
She didn’t know she would be looking at all of you one day.

I couldn’t do it without her.
She had to wait many years to be allowed a paintbrush.
I was too grown-up, and too afraid.
SHE wasn’t……she’s much happier now.

It was a long road to get to that paintbrush. I have a degree from the University of Florida. I’ve been a research assistant and a life insurance underwriter in Chicago, just to name a couple of detours. Here is a sample of my watercolor style. It’s not the usual appearance of watercolor. Though I love the splashy possibilities, I tend to work with watercolors in a way which holds the pigment to the paper with a different appearance.

Part of my work as a free lance artist has been commissioned portraits from photographs. I offer realistic, or creative renderings. People and pets are one of my specialties.
