I have seen this flag looking stiff & starched as it stood up to a northeaster, & I have seen it lying limp & lifeless as a sea fog rolled in. In this instance, it wasn’t too sure about life in general, largely because of the peculiar politics that have assailed this country lately. If a flag could scratch its head, Old Glory would be doing just that. It also appears to be threatened by Dementors, which are, in actuality, large umbrellas which will look less sinister when they, along with the pool, open up. In any case, this flag has a most attractive setting & is caught here in a flash of brilliant clear sun. Beyond is the Atlantic Ocean, looking quite peaceful as it rolls in from Great Britain.
