My name is John Hartung and my business name is Art That Smiles. My art reflects my love of nature, life, beauty and humor. I have years of formal education and experience in both photography and with Adobe Photoshop. I often use Photoshop to create seamless photomontages and add other effects. Not all my photography is manipulated. I do feel comfortable using the computer as a tool when necessary to satisfy my vision. My goal is to create art with personality.

I’ve been selling my work full time since March of 2004 and feel blessed so many people have fallen in love with my work to allow me to do so. Most of my income comes from selling my work at art festivals all over the United States. I also sell my original signed photographs on my website:

You are free to look, free to laugh, free to comment, free to smile but you are not free to steal my work. I make my living by SELLING my images. Respect my livelihood, thank you. Rewards given for information on those violating my copyright.
