EXTREMELY MIFFED : Art is not small, medium and LARGE

A client emails me and says I say your Iced Tree Photo on USA101 and wanted to know how much for a print…..wow that is an open ended question…so I reply that I am a pro and need to know for what use this person wants for the print….it is a gift and I want it huuuuge…….. my mind goes what the hell is huge……20 feet x 60 feet….does this person want a billboard….so againg i ask but i also send along some photographic standard sizes for this client to compare to……Huuge…Hmmmm…….so I started at 20×24, 20×30, 24×30, 30×40, 40×60, and 48 × 60 inches…….now I have given her MY HUUUUGE Print Standards…..and she ask for a price of the 30 × 40 signed……..I shoot her my price and she tells me she cannot afford it……and we dicker for a while and I give into a somewhat lesser price……low enuff she gets a signed print at less than what it is worth….but since it is a digital file I do not have to have spotting done or dusting of the transparency….so I am not putting out as much so I can give a discount to her for x-mas…..and she was happy……. I ordered a 30 × 40 print and I recieved a 30 × 40 inch print and so did she…..

My local PROFESSIONAL PROCESSOR has a list of standard sizes they print….
I inturn have a list of standards I offer for sale…
Smugmug has a set of standard sizes they offer ….
and I have a set of standard sizes I offer thru them….
It is all in print……not small, medium and large

I cannot offer my art for sale to those outside of the u.s. thru smugmug because the currency they take is the u.s.$….so foreign prospects shun away because they cannot buy in their native currency or the Almighty Euro……

So I hear about RED BUBBLE….sound great…..has different currencies……now I run ionto a different dilemma…..the price lists only show small medium and large for print sizes…..at first I am told to go hunt thru the galleries of items for sale…..{SORRY NOT MY JOB, I AM A POSSIBLE CLIENT…..}, then I am give pixel dimensions….still not what I want……then I am told….it is impossible to give exact measurements….{which just is not true…all printer have set standards, unless likeBO-BLOWJOB who uses 13×11 paper and just razor blades off a alittle and gives you an APPROXIMATE 8 × 10 inch print that is actually 9.89 × 7.93....but damn it is almost 10 × 8......}

I am miffed because I even expalined why I need such information and being told to go hunt for it is as bad ad smumug telling all the Aussie, Canook and European clients and me that being able to sell in foreign currency is not very important to them…….
I understand this is a free site…but damit man…..everyone has set standard sizes and not just small medium and large……
