My family has always been very art oriented and extremely supportive of creativity especially with my mother being not only an artist herself but also a pianist and an excellent wood worker. My father has always been an amazing musician who spends his free time strumming his guitar and humming to whatever new tune he has created in the moment or humbly acknowledging the fact that he is a connoisseur at drawing 3D boxes en masse. Ever since a young age my siblings and I were encouraged to explore these shared traits and I did by drawing everything I saw in a little composition notebook that held a lot of imaginative stories. When I got older I expanded my horizons beyond household crafts and tried to soak up as much as I could when it came to all forms of creating.

I wanted to paint, sculpt, create, draw, and bring life to something as simple as a shapeless form. To this day I still try to learn as many new things as possible, always dabbling in this and that. If something peaks my interest I throw myself wholeheartedly into it and spend hours having fun. My younger sister and I have always seemed to have our artistic interests spark at the same time, and even after not talking for a couple days, we come together and both learn we’ve both started to crochet. As we continue to explore, we both began realizing how much happiness we get from coming together and creating crazy random pieces of work. We strive to be artfully exceptional and that’s what ArtFlea Studios is all about.
