I am a father of two, artist, wannabe writer, wine lover and daydreamer living in North West England.

My passion is for art that shows beauty in all its forms and I adore wildlife and the natural world.
Amongst my favourite artists are Monet, Caravaggio, Jackson Pollock, Picasso, DeGas, Gris Grimly, Tim Burton and Milt Kahl.

I originally trained as a cartoonist and dreamed of working for Disney in my teens. In later life I simply see that as being one of many influences that I draw upon.

Much of my work is created digitally using Corel Painter on an iMac with Wacom hardware. Namely the Cintiq 22HD Touch. It’s a beautifully expressive setup.

Aside from art I have a lifelong ambition to have a novel published. I’m also part Sicilian and have a passion for Italian culture and cuisine.

Wilf is a childhood nickname.
