Artist's Description

“The Forest of Dean”
Acrylic on canvas, 2016
20″ × 16″
No 9 in a series

Based on “Snow Birch” by Bob Ross, Joy of Painting Season 26, Ep 7. I’ve added Professor Snape’s Doe Patronus. This represents the scene in “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows” when Snape’s Doe Patronus leads Harry to the frozen lake that contains the Godric Gryffindor’s Sword.

“And then the source of the light stepped out from behind an oak. It was a silver white doe, moon-bright and dazzling, picking her way over the ground, still silent, and leaving no hoofprints in the fine powdering of snow…”
—Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Chapter Nineteen

Signed by the artist and ready for framing. The edges of the canvas are painted black so it also can be hung as is. This painting is finished with a UV-protectant acrylic glaze to protect the piece and ensure its longevity.
