Here is the color version of my ’70s picture of a Model T. Dad allowed a friend to park his Tin Lizzie under the shed of our house, for a while. The house is to the left of the picture. I’m not sure about the year of this car, but the Model T was made from September 1908 to October 1927 by the Ford Motor Company. On May 26, 1927, Henry Ford was present at the plant to watch the 15th million, Model T Ford, roll off the assembly line. This is one Bad car!
I took this picture in the ‘70s at my home in Kingston, Tennessee. I resided in Kingston during my high school years. After high school, I signed a four year contract. No, not with a college ball team… the Marine Corps. Life hasn’t been the same since.
I dedicate this photo to Tin Lizzie owners.
