Charcoal drawing from the college days, some 30 years ago. The “runway” is a metal shelf-hanging bracket, and the hoops are (as I recall) some plastic circular pieces that appeared to have no use whatsoever in society. Our instructor, the Great Martin Facey, set up the wacky still-life so we could pick out our favorite part and focus in on it. It was a fun project.
Completed at the University of New Mexico School of Fine Arts, in Albuquerque. Charcoal and drawing paper: 1987
