I am for dinner

I wake up and a white table is set before me. I have a white crisp napkin on my naked lap. A silver platter is poised in the middle of the table. I know what is on the menu. I know what is to be served up and masticated.
I am for dinner.

I must decide which bit of me to dissect first and consume. It surely has to be my tongue. Yes, it was wagged too much in my life and left me alone outside of the round square.

Then there is my foot either will suffice, I ponder how many times I have put my foot in it as the proverbial saying goes.
Oh and how can I forget my hands they have also been known to meddle and twist what is not theirs to touch.
I have quite a full dinner plate already, tongue, a foot and hands.
Common sense suggests that my hands are the last on the menu, they are needed for the meal preparation.

My nakedness at the table curiously does not surprise me in the least.
I am naked before myself for my own judgment to strip away the parts of me that has broken my heart.

I am ready to cut the meat of me for my meal. I glance downward and realize that there is one more cutlet.
My stomach has been greedy all my life and the root of all my troubles.

There seems to be so much blood staining the crisp white.
I chew on my tongue and swallow my pride that came with it.
My foot is the next morsel and it is tough as boots to get down.
Nothing will tenderize this failing; I fear it will give me indigestion.
The stomach and hands I have left last to eat as I need my hands to eat with and I need my stomach to take in the eating.
I seemed to have a conundrum on my plate.

Then it is clear well no I tell lies again it is a bloody mess.
I choose my left hand first for no reason than it is easier to use the fork with my right hand.
Who do I ask for help to finish what is left or right on the menu of me?
My enemy or my friend?
I am full of it and over it.
I have had enough of my meal. I would prefer more seasoning.
