Artist's Description

Taken in S-21 (Tuol Sleng), Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Used as a place for torture during the Khmer Rouge years of 1975-1979. It’s estimated 2000 – 10000 people were killed in this compound alone.

A really eerie, sad and just terrible place to visit – but it’s an insight into the horrid past that Cambodia has endured over the last 30 years.
