Artist's Description

The Crow symbolizes memory, mystery, gratitude, affection, wisdom, and hope. It is an omen of change, teaching us to accept the changes (change is inevitable, after all) and look beyond our limitations to see what’s holding us back. It encourages us to put aside our fears and look deep within ourselves to those inner shadows, revealing unexpressed pain and hidden wounds. The Crow is a messenger between the physical and spiritual worlds, helping us learn not everything is what it may appear to be. Many cultures consider the Crow to be very wise prophets and, hence, are the Keepers of the Sacred Law; nothing escapes their keen insight.

Early one morning, I was out on a walk. The sun was trying to peek through the foggy clouds, the cool breeze smelled like autumn’s falling leaves, and the crows were cackling as they flew around me…
