Artist's Description

Summer season has a lot of cruise ship operating out of Sydney.
On more days than not during late spring and summer, these ship slip quitely in and out of the harbour, often around dawn.
It takes less than a fwe minutes for them to weigh anchor and disappear out of view, so it is not easy to see even in a prime position like my unit.
On this day, it was good lighting conditions and the scene nicely framed.
This is the “Voyager of the Seas”, the largest of all the ships currently operating. So tall, it can’t it under the bridge, and like its sister, Radiance, berths stern towards the quay.
