Saw the Sun

Saw u asleep yesterday,
wudnt have allowed to be at bay.
With face as sun in the rest,
eyebrows as rays to give shelter in crest.
Quietly I glared in
as I thought about time remainin.

I crept slowly in fire,
knew that it wud take me on death wire.
I felt heat in my gut,
that would leave me burnt.

Still I felt urge to stop the time,
only to compose one more beautiful rhyme.

but time won
and I lost
the moment that spurred me more,
it raced with me as if to kill me in core

I stood there to get final blow
it hit me n I was on a low,
but I was alive
and my fate was to thrive.

to be place where sun rests.
to be ground where rays nests.
